Action types are used to record and monitor actions for clients. You can define different types of actions so that you can, for example, control enquiries, orders and telephone calls separately.

Action types are a means of defining the standard actions that are undertaken when dealing with clients so that you can then analyze the different ones. In order to do this, you can set up a hierarchy of master and sub-actions:
