If you have a multi-currency system, you can define the currencies to be used for costs and charges. As exchange rates alter, enter the latest ones here so the costs and charges are correct. Any new rates will apply only to future costs and charges but you can apply them retrospectively if required.
Select Exchange Rates from the Financial section of Administration.
The system currency is shown and you will select a Currency for which a rate is to be set and specify the Effective Date from which it applies (the default is today). Then click Search to view existing rates.
For each one, click:
• to change the rate.
• creates a rate with the same general details as the selected one so you can amend it.
• to delete the rate, providing it is not in use.
Click Add a new Exchange Rate to create a rate for the selected and system currencies.
