As part of our planned migration of the KeyedIn Enterprise (formerly KeyedIn Projects) service to AWS we are pleased to announce that the next phase, migrating our USA service, will take place on Saturday 15th May 2021. The migrated service will be provided from AWS data centres within the USA. It is anticipated that the KeyedIn Enterprise services hosted from the USA (including web portals, APIs, mobile services, and scheduled services) will be unavailable for the whole of the 15th of May starting at 00:00 EDT, with normal service resuming on Sunday 16th May.
The upgrade will affect the following domains.
keyedinprojects.com
*.keyedinprojects.com
The ‘*’ prefix denotes the use of subdomains eg. v6.keyedinprojects.com, api.keyedinprojects.com etc.
Ahead of the migration of the live service we will move the USA sandbox service on Sunday 9th May 2021. The sandbox service will be unavailable for the whole of the 9th May, with normal service resuming on Monday 10th May.
The sandbox upgrade will affect the domain
*.sandbox.keyedinprojects.com
For the majority of our users changes to both environments will be transparent. However, the services’ public IP addresses will be changing. If your organisation has configured an SPF record for the KeyedIn Projects servers or operate a network with traffic prioritisation / whitelisting based upon IP addresses then these will require adjusting to reflect the new service IP addresses. We will update our Support Portal with the new public IP addresses in the next couple of weeks.
Additional updates will be added to the KeyedIn Projects Support Portal and KeyedIn Projects log on page as they become available.
Please note that our UK and Australia services will be unaffected at this time.
If you have any questions, please contact your account / customer success manager, or submit a support ticket.
Best Regards
KeyedIn Solutions Infrastructure Team
